Correct Primary Chain

Hi,
I came across a primary chain on eBay with the description
Up for Bids is a NOS Primary Chain Honda CB350 CM400 CM450 CB72 CL350 CB400 1974-1978 XL350 40530-356-305 RK50 102 Link O-Ring Moto Chain
and bought it as I need a new one for my cb72.
However after reading about the primary chain of the cb72 and cb77 they seem to be hard to get and an odd size.
So unless all these other models also have hard to get primary chains then it would appear that this one is incorrect??

I haven't received it yet but have the distinct feeling that this is going to be wrong...

most of the bikes listed in your fitmint list don't even have primary chains, the clutches are gear driven. pretty sure what you are getting is a rear drive chain.

I found one in Thailand, looks to be the right one, but it's described as a clutch chain....

The part number looks right at least.

Part number is correct, OEM chains came from several different manufactures each of which put there own name on the sideplates.

Pretty sure I have an old chain somewhere with RK on it so the claim that tHis chain is OEM looks sound.

I purchased a Tagasago chain from Thailand a couple of years ago. I have yet to fire the engine it went into but it appeared fine and fit well. The plates ate a bit thinner than the old one but my motorcycle advisor thought that this might just reflect the strength of the steel, stronger in the new one than the old.
