Torquing CA77 Head Bolts

Thanks Ed. I had just replaced all the gaskets. Had it all back together. Torque wrench set: 15, 15,15,15,15,15,15, snap! F@ck! Fortunately, Lancaster Honda has 6 studs in stock.

The service manual says 15#, why 21#? Also, I assume clean and DRY treads, correct?

There is a top and bottom to the studs? How do you tell?

Bottom end has more threads....

The outer front studs extend more because they are smaller diameter. Just like elastic; the thinner it is the more stretchy......
