What Are These?
What Are These?Putting the engine back together and in the bag returned from the machinist that had the points cover and bolts were these two thin walled tubes, 11/16th long and 7/16th wide. If I have made a bonehead mistake it won't be the first time and I'm sure they weren't put in the bag by mistake. I thought I made sure all guide pins between sections on top end were present and accounted for but now I am really questioning. Do you recognize these parts? Thanks, Bill
Re: What Are These? No, I know these were on the engine case. These do not have beveled ends the way knock pins do and don't seem as thick walled as a knock pin.I have gone through the parts manual but can't find them. I know a lot of you are thinking why don't I just ask the machinist? He can be pretty hard to get in touch with but I will try. I was hoping someone would be able to say, "Yeah, I know what they are." I know some of you guys know every part on the CB77. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Bill
Re: What Are These?Wild guess: Someone's attempt to fabricate homemade knock pins.
