CA78 Dream Handlebars

Post by bbap » Wed May 11, 2011 7:31 pm

Can anyone advise me if these bars would fit my bike. They do not say they are for a CA78 305 Dream, but they look the same. I've got the slide style throttle control. Here's the link on ebay:

Frame and engine number below. Mine are a mess. Thanks! Steve

I think the main difference is the CA77 bars are more swept back. From the parts manuals the throttle pipe and lever mounts are the same. The only other problem could be the width of the center where it mounts. Maybe someone with at CA160 can give that measurement.

My bars are also a mess (typical bent on right and bad chrome), so I'd like to know too.

Thanks for the headzup....I sent them an email and it indicated pretty much the same. No contact which means I doubt I'll buy from them. Maybe I'll check their very recent feedback for a hint if they are still in business.
