CL77 Headlight

Post by Bee » Thu May 21, 2015 9:03 am

Can anyone tell me if a headlight with part number 33100-286-672 is a suitable replacement for a late model 1967 CL77 headlight that has a part number of 33120-268-670? They look the same on eBay but I can't tell if they are the same diameter

Looking for one for my late 67 CL 77 as well. I'm not sure some of the sellers part numbers can be trusted without pictures of the back. I've seen several with the right part number, but the wrong style mount. Mine has the ears for the screws, I think its supposed to be 33120-283-000. The numbers you mentioned use springs clips to retain the bulb, but see both styles under those part numbers.

I used the 286 part # sold as a unit with rim and it was a perfect fit for a 67. It is also the correct replacement
part. No clips.

I bought it because it has the ears on the back that match my current 67 CL77. I'll post once I get it but it certainly looks like the one for 67 model.
