Remove the sleeves. Wash/wipe and clean them with acetone/lacquer thinner then spray with Krylon clear finish a couple of times. (let dry) Clean the aluminum assy holes the same way. (no spray) Then put the cylinders in the freezer and the aluminum assy in the oven (200 degrees) and after a couple of hours prop the aluminum assy on anything that will allow you to drop the frozen sleeves into the holes of the aluminum assy.
