Rims&Spokes

Post by shotzinky » Mon Feb 04, 2008 6:12 pm

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone has purchased a set of spokes or rims that are commonly found on Ebay. I just know they send them from Asia... I know that is vague. But I am sure some of us have run into them at one time or another searching for parts online. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Brian, how's it going ? I do have a set of the " chrome spokes that they sell, and the quality is O.K. . I have not seen, but have heard that the chrome on the rims is very low quality. I also hear that is about 175 each to have the rims rechromed. I have a friend with a body shop that geta a deal on croming. I'm going to bring a set to him this week, and see what kind of deal he can get for me. Got out for a ride on the cafe bike yesterday, and I'll post pics on the events / literature section.

Beware of the rims. They are drilled wrong and the spoke angles don't line up properly.
