CB77 baffles with or with out
CB77 baffles with or with outI read in the CB77 owners manual that operating the bike without diffusers adversely affects the air fuel mixture but I’ve heard many people take the baffles out to achieve a better sound.
My baffles are in but I am thinking of taking them out. Is removing them ok? Thanks 67' CB77

Re: CB77 baffles with or with outFrom "Day One" we would remove the baffles off and on and in my case I never changed jets or had a engine problem.
MCM produced a set of chromed long tapper megs and even with the sort of baffle they supplied the CB77 screamed at the similar pitch as the CL72/77 SCRAMBLERS. ..............lm
CB77 bafflesThanks Lm. Today I took them out. Sounded pretty good in my novice opinion. I couldn’t see how removal of the baffles could affect the air fuel ratio. Thanks again for the information.

Re: CB77 bafflesUsually any time you change the back pressure very much it can effect/affect? the jet size/amount of fuel needed.
Not every time. ................lm
