crankshaft 20mm lock nut
I , like LM use a flat chisel to remove this nut. Are you turning it in the right direction, counter clockwise? Is the crank spinning when you hit the nut. You can wedge a penny between the primary chain and sprocket to lock up crank. Pennies are copper, and much softer metal . Another trick to try is get a socket that is larger than the shaft, but smaller than the nut. Place it on the nut, and give a couple of good sharp blows with a hammer, then try the chisel again. This trick works well on any frozen bolt. Good luck, and let us know how it goes.
