Clutch Pressure PlateClutch Pressure PlateHappy New Year everyone! Could someone tell me how tight to make the four clutch pressure plate bolts on my CL77? Is it possible to tighten them too much, to a point where the clutch can not be "pulled" (pushed by the clutch push rod)?
Thanks, MrBurnn Re: Clutch Pressure PlateThey tighten right down on to the posts. Not like a British bike where you can adjust them.

Now I can't push the clutch push rod with my hand (the clutch lever is not hooked up as I am re-assembling the entire bike). Do you think the clutch will work properly once I get the clutch lever and cable attached?

Not surprising that you can't push the pushrod by hand. Hook up the clutch lever and, if you've put it together properly, it will work fine as countless others have.... :-) G
