65? has 65 wire tag,
Im doing it in scarlet/silver combo
I see some with silver painted type 2 forks and looks like 67? has red lowers...
what is correct for my vin

Sorry I missed the vin the first time.
You have a 1965 issue and the sliders should be steel and painted the same color as the frame and other frame type parts. ........lm

I incorrectly typed in the vin last post.
It is cb771037720 which is a 1966 I believe
has type 2 aluminum forks.
Were any of them painted red?
I see a few out there but I think all type 2s were silver from the factory

These are for a 66 bike. All aluminum sliders were silver other than the ALL WHITE bike and those were WHITE. .....................lm
