'64 CA77 "reconstruction"Got the side cover, frame, and front of the fender that I painted polished-out -
Trying to match the original finish, so it can't be perfect. Ended-up with about the right texture and gloss-level, and doesn't stand-out as repainted. The original paint is a bit inconsistent, but polishes-up surprisingly well, there's just not much of it on there so you need to be gentle. Worked on the right side engine covers, trying to get them back to an original finish. Some idiot (me) blasted the points cover back in the day...
I stayed a bit on the brushed/light polished side instead of going full-on mirror polish. Anyone have an opinion on that? It's easy to go more polished, but not as easy to go back.
