Petcock Rebuild

Post by sailPDQ36 » Tue Oct 25, 2016 11:31 am

Hi all,

I just rebuilt the petcock on my 1968 CA77 and I find that the motion between OFF - ON - RES is still very stiff. Is this normal? I rebuilt the petcock for this very reason assuming that new seals and what not would improve the ease of use. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Tom

I tried 3 different "rebuild kits" and none of them worked worth shyte. I ended up installing a newer after-market valve.
