It is a nice work stand, but I agree, I don't think it would be strong enough to work as a test stand.

Good job Seadog. Your hired. I could probably unseam 4 sets of stainless muffler faster than figuring that out.

I'm with LM, why couldn't you use the stand that Malcolmb posted from ebay, be used for a running stand (at least for an electric start model)? I kinda got some ideas floating in my head now, about an engine stand, for a motorcycle. And it might or might not involve a cheap car engine stand actually. gotta try to work out some time to see what I can come up with.
