perhaps to watch forperhaps to watch forhad a holed piston when i bought it.<br /><br />second hand heard that it back fired and somehow holed the piston. that didn't make a ton of sense.<br /><br />after reassembly, the rotor was unuseable. seems it is a pressed together unit that was separating and gave it enought slop to lay over on the magnets in the stator.<br /><br />best guess is that it advanced the timing enough to lean out one cylinder and hole the piston.<br /><br />if you take the cover off for some reason, try and wobble the rotor. it might save you some headache.
