LM, According to a seller on ebay, the part # you gave has been superseded to
34902-259-003. This appears to be the part # for a 2 pack. So I may give the local dealer a try. Thanks again.

Very common change for HONDA parts.
003 only means the third generation of that part.

I've found some suitable bulbs available at auto parts stores and RadioShack. The number is 1891 (14V 3.4W). The globe is elongated instead of round but it does fit the small holes in the gauge.

The 53 has the same profile as the Honda bulb, but only 1.7w. Might be a little dim for the already dark gauges.
