Replace coil wiresIf I understand what you have, there is an epoxy dab on the coil case for each wire. If you remove the epoxy you will find little shards of bamboo holding the plug wires in. Once the bamboo is removed, the plug wires can be replaced. If you don't break them, the bamboo can be re-used and new epoxy applied.

Yes, indeed. I wonder if the deal was like Henry Ford's use of Model T radiator packing crate material for the floors of the Model T? Recycled chopsticks from the works canteen perhaps? G
