interchagable parts from 63-CA72 to 65 CA77

I have put new wires on an old coil before. I don't think I have done it on a CA coil though so not sure any of the info below applies.

Would I suggest it? Not really but here is the info.

If I understand what you have, there is an epoxy dab on the coil case for each wire. If you remove the epoxy you will find little shards of bamboo holding the plug wires in. Once the bamboo is removed, the plug wires can be replaced. If you don't break them, the bamboo can be re-used and new epoxy applied.
