Wow, quite the story LM! Will certainly reference this info while at the machine shop.

I spoke to the owner of the shop today and he has been in business for 30+ yrs so my hopes are that he has some knowledge with these 305's (which im sure he will) will keep you updated on the progress! Thanks again!

I share my experiences with others because I've been there in so many ways and now I find others headed into some of the same things I've experienced. (not all good or bad)
Then it's time to let them make up their own mind. ..................lm

Much appreciated LM, personal experience is always good advice!

While we are on the topic...below are the pistons I ordered (61.00mm), would you recommend that I go 2 TH clearance with these as well or should different calculations be made?

Also, what does TH stand for? lol

In this case I suggest you ask Tim that question as he had WISCO build them.
TH is for THOUSAND. ......................lm

Apparently the clearances are printed on the box specifically for each differently sized piston. Simple enough I suppose. I'm sure I can trust his marks being he specializes in these machines...
