CL77 Front Shocks Wanted UK
CL77 Front Shocks Wanted UKHi I need some early front shocks, really only need good legs as the stanchions are ok, PO has ruined the leg buy putting too long a bolt through the mudguard (fender) bracket and deforming the leg....
Cheers
If you don't find them on your side of the pond..............One or both............let me which if only one...............I have several sets already disassembled. Are the bushes on the tubes OK? Don't ask about the seal-retainers. I have just enough for my projects unless you want to re-chrome......
Shipping to the UK won't be too bad for legs only.
Thanks for the reply, my bike has the steel fork legs, I've no reason to think these are not the correct ones for the year, it also has large brakes front and rear. My stanchions and bushes seem to be ok although I'm struggling to get one them apart. DB
Thats a very kind offer which I may take you up on if I get stuck, don't mind re-chroming as I can get it done very reasonably, one of mine is shot completely, no amount of chrome is going to save it..... DB Steel lowers usually means small brakes.....
The "long" bolt syndrome usually makes for difficult disassembly. It is possible to drill right trough and remove the little "lump" on the inside of the tube. You can then use thread sealer on the bolt to stop leaks. G
