Oil seals HELLOk here's some pic's
I am 99.9% sure it is coming from the right hand crank shaft oil seal, now some thing I have noticed is the end float on the crankshaft pulling it in and out is around 1mm only guessing (have no way of measuring it) when the engine is running with the rotor cover removed the one with the 3 screws the rotor magnet moves in and out when the throttle is blipped now that cant be helping the oil seal to hold any oil back, it could be just pumping the oil out moving in and out. Any idea what is permissible end float is ? I have a feeling there should be no end float, if that's the case then it's another total strip down.

You are correct.
No movement at all. I'd remove the stater and see what is actually moving. ......................lm
The seal in the sprocket doesn't look like any I've ever used.
If the crank moves as you say I think I'd be more concerned with the movement at this time than the oil leak because all bearing are supposed to be centered in the cases with knock pins and the bearings flush to the inter area of the shafts. If you have movement you need to check the bearing mounts and or races. ......................lm
