67 CL77 battery draining
The ignition(main) switch powers up the black wire in the center position(on), that feeds the coils, brake light switch, neutral light socket, head light switch and horn. The head light switch is off in the center, left click powers the tail light and speedo light. Turning to the right powers headlight, tail light and the speedo light. The tail light feed wire is tied into the main switch to allow the park light function(tail light on with the key out).

Really helpful info there. Next the horn isn't working and loose in the back of the bucket. Kind of afraid to go in there with the chrome trim ring dinged in a couple of places, but will eventually, took it for a cruise late this afternoon with mixed results, but all electrical seems sound, I will elaborate in the other thread if interested. http://www.honda305.com/forums/67-cl77- ... 290098ff7a -Forrest
The horn basically just hangs on two studs, in some rubber grommets, bolted through the headlight shell. It gets kinda floppy when the rubber gets a little tired but it won't fall out. One wire connection gets battery voltage via the black wire, the other one is grounded by the horn button on the handlebar.

The horn mounting nuts and the wiring connections are inside the headlight shell. You have to pull the headlight out to access them. Pull the two Philips head screws out of the edge of the shell and pull the chrome rim forward.
