CB77 performance valve rocker arms?Yes, the cam profile needs to be specific for the roller follower. As the contact radius decreases from the standard follower pad to the roller wheel, the cam duration will shorten by a substantial amount. The Harmon-Collins cams I've seen have been welded to add the necessary material. There may have also been steel billet versions. The roller lobes will be more "oval" as compared to the standard egg-shaped lobes. Regards, Chase
Re: Roller rocker armsGordon
I got my rockers (and matching cam) from Roger Bryant. There were some notes with the parts. I'll look it all out when I have a moment. The ball end adjusters are made from M6 HT cap screws with a ball bearing swaged in. All very ingenious. I know that Dennis Murfin has had similar experience to you and I hope he may chime in later.
