'64 CL72 Scrambler

Post by OldScrambler » Sat Feb 07, 2015 5:02 pm

I also have a '64..............Red.........Honda changed the Serial Number style in mid-year. About that time they also seem to have changed the double-eye shocks to the later eye / clevis style. Mine is a double-eye............what's yours?

NICE.........very nice............I have several sets but all need to be restored. I will have a few spares after the '64 and two '63s get finished. But first I need to finish this '66 305........

Looks like you are well on with that one. I love the look of red ones.

Hello Kevin.............If I get the seat foam, I will try to have this completed for the Rocker Box MotoFest at Road America. This bike has more of my NOS items than previous builds.........rims, spokes, wire-harness and speedo........and all chrome is redone. I don't plan to ride this one, but have another getting a custom dual-sport look with BIG pistons.

Are you getting the itch for a ride around Lake Superior in 2016?

Yes I would be up for another trip around Lake Superior on a 305. Not sure if it would be a Superhawk or a Scrambler this time.
