While looking at the wiring diagram for the CA72, I cannot find the source of an extra black wire that I have left over.
All lights are working, headlight, tail light, speedo light, neutral, horn, high beam and it's indicator.
There is a black wire from the original harness that splits into two black wires, one of which connects to the horn, the other I have dangling freely right now, it's on the right of the gas tank and meets up with the same black wire that goes to the horn.
Any ideas where it's home might supposed to be?
It hasn't effected any of the electronics of the bike that I've noticed, but I figure all wires attached correctly will help "regulate" the flow better.
Mystery wire.
The harnes should have two separate black wires, both with female ends, to connect with two black wires with bullet connectors from the horn. Do you still have the original horn and how is it wired? Wiring diagram at the following link.

The female end of it has been clipped, but that's easy to repair.
I have one black wire from the harness into the horn (it is the original horn) and the other wire of the horn attached to the black wire straight from the handlebar switch horn button. I don't have any other connectors that are left out, I wonder why one is left over?
