Speedo restoration

Post by SMBH » Sun Dec 14, 2014 5:58 am

I have purchased a rough early CB72/77 speedo off Ebay to play with to see if I can restore it.

It is all intact only the glass is broken I intend to replace with clear pexiglass I have stripped it down and wish to test if it to see if it is working by putting a hand drill on the drives.

When I attach the drill on the drive's (were the cables go) dos the speedo side rotate in a anticlockwise direction and the tach in a clockwise direction ?

Can I damage the speedo by rotating the speedo in the wrong direction ?

Car Dealership

Buying a new car is not that easy if you are not financially stable. You should have a stable job in order to purchase a new car. If you are looking for a specific vehicle in a particular area, you should go to this website I came across. You can find dealerships in your area or dealerships that sell the car you would like. You can try to find a particular car if you need to or just search for different car dealerships so you can look at cars. Within Sandy Springs Toyota you will definitely get the very best automobile purchasing experience achievable. So stop by Howdy Honda Austin TX quickly! Have a look at our website here! You should try visiting our website right away and check what type of car deal you would like to avail. You should choose the best car deal before you decide to buy a new car.

SMBH,
If the speedo project get's to be too much for you, there is a place in San Diego, CA that is very well known for restoring these things.

Foreign Speedometer is the name.

Thanks for that Rickytic but I have finished the speedo restoration and very happy with see my finished speedo see "Speedo bulb rubber bits" on this forum.

I live in the UK so sending it to the US would be to much cost for me.
