mystery motor part please help

No, and that part did not come out of a 250/305 engine.

I just looked at the part again and I think it is the hard end of the Clutch Rod. ..........lm

Thanks lm. It rides up against the ball that is in the clutch adjuster, correct?

Take a good look at the end of the clutch release rod where it contacts the ball bearing and you will see that part. ............lm
