Help finding old style tach. clock assembly

Post by bk305 » Fri Jul 20, 2007 2:35 pm

I'm looking for the entire clock assembly (or parts) for my 1963 cb77 tachometer. mine has been giving bad readings for awhile- suddenly a bad whining noise and then the needle, and part of the shaft with it was laying at the bottom of the case! (i've tried to solder the shafts together but not enough strength and not very true). anybody have any extra parts laying around???? thanks- bk

Seeing as how all your going to get for your money is an old meter, and you already have one of those, you're better off having it repaired. I've had great success with "Foreign Speedo" in San Diego, California, and would recomend them to anyone. I sent them my gauge set and a few short weeks later I had a unit that was at least as accurate, if not more so, than new. They can also refurbish it cosmetically if need be.

If they don't have a part, it seems like they have tiny little elves in a tiny little machine shop that come out at night and make them.

305, You might check evil-bay but I agree with pie, you will probably just get another worn out one. Kustommusic
