It looks like a decent late Candy scrambler, which I think would be rare in the UK. It would be nice if the seller had noted the frame and engine numbers and shown the speedo face for correctness and mileage. I had a low mileage original paint candy blue '67 I sold last July. I hope my link goes through so you can see it. I think your blue looks a little light and may be a repaint. Also your badges are the early Dream 300 badges, not the correct later 300 badges. Your sold Scrambler looks nice! Congrats to the new owner. But I must say the one on e EBay-UK looks good too. If it's all the seller states, like you I think it's priced about right. Nikola, Better get it soon so you can find a lock smith to make a second or 3rd key. Blanks can be hard to find (at least they were for me here at home) I busted/bent two over the last five years! I own a silver 1966 CL77. Have had it for nearly 6 years and love it. Any of these early Honda's will turn heads but the CL is my favorite. If I had 50 cents for every guy that said, "I had one of those when I was 17" (or whatever), I'd have enough by now to by a second one! However...replacement parts on these old bikes can be pricey. Main Question what should the Correct Badge look like and where to find a Blank Spare Key ( my geek resto side for my bikes sozz )
Tank Badges and keysMy badges are a plastic reproduction sort, they have the traditional black fisheye look and the Honda "Wing" and name "Honda 300" are a light gold metallic color. I'm not sure which is correct as yours and Hoosier Toms appear silver (maybe it's just the lighting). My badges may be from RRHBYRNE I don't know as I bought them from a third party, but they look pretty good. As far as the key...I hunted a number of locksmith shops until I found one that had several blanks. The key mfg. is TAYLOR and the casting mark on the key says H70H. I bought all he had and the smith even said these were very old keys. I'll let the experts answer the muffler question.
