for sale original buco bags for ca77

Post by Mark13018 » Tue Jul 16, 2013 7:11 am

Guys with my collection growing I have decided to let my ca77 305 go. I am selling the bags separately. The bike only has 1884 miles on it and was stored since 1966. The buco bags are original and put on in the year the bike was bought... I would like to get 1400.00 plus shipping for them but am open to offers. The bike will also be for sale separately. I have included a picture of the bike with the bags. They are listed on ebay now and I will give anyone from the forum a better deal. Location is Fort Wayne, IN. Let me know. Thanks, Mark

Hi. I think you are over shooting the mark a bit. I have been watching these sell online at various auction sites for the past seven years or so and the highest I saw one sell for in pristine condition was about $500. They usually go from between $300 to $500 depending on condition and the need of the prospective buyer. With that in mind, good luck with your sale. ;-)

Thanks for your input. I have them on eBay for 998.00 and had a couple offers up to 450.00 for this set. I may be wanting too much but there aren't many out there. I'm open to offers and probably the first offer over 500 I'll accept. They're in my attic so they're out of the way and it doesn't cost me anything to keep it on eBay so it will just stay on there at 998.00 until someone shoots me an offer I'm willing to accept.

The bike itself I sold for $2025.00 on eBay through auction and the clutch was stuck and it wouldn't keep a charge. Some people are willing to pay whatever on eBay to get what they want... The value of something is what someone is willing to pay. I'll wait until I get an offer close to what I'm wanting before I pet them go... Thanks for your input though.

I saw the date LM. I chose to respond to try to enlighten someone who was probably still sitting on those bags and perhaps help them to reach a more realistic price.
