any experience/advice for EVO2 batteries ?

Post by Mike Mullins » Thu Aug 22, 2013 3:28 pm

I am finally in the home stretch with my 66 Super Hawk cafe project. Now I need to choose a battery and find a spot for it. I am wondering if any of you out there in the vast reaches of cyberland have used the EVO 2 batteries and your experiences with them. Also, since I do not have an electric starter on this bike, I think I can get by with a smaller battery with less cranking amps (?) Any thoughts on this ? Also I assume that if I have a working regulator/rectifer, I will not have any problems with overcharging a smaller battery
(I will admit I am electrically challenged: dont rub it in.)
Thank you in advance,
Mike Mullins (aka mikeyrx)
