I could be wrong but I think JC Witney has pipes that would work on a dream at a cheeper price then what you are looking at. I understand the deal of not wanting to pay a $$$ for exhaust I was lucky when I got my bike that they was not in such bad condition not like new but in one pice.
Anyone else know of the JC Witney pipes seems that I have seen something on this site.

I'll check out jc whitney. I think I've shopped them for something else... The thing is though that those Buco bags have a support bracket that wraps around part of the exhaust and the replacements I put on there will have to be almost identical in size because I am keeping the bags and they need that support... Thanks for your input.

Yes don't take off the bags if you do Hold on to them. The bags are worth $$$ too.
i think that if you don't buy OEM pipes you may have a problem using other pipes I cant say for sure as I have not seen the none OEM pipes but in photos.

Yeah, I think some of the reproductions I've seen will probably work for the bags and their support brackets but looking at the OEM ones with the factory dimple here and there and cutouts for whatever and the aftermarket replacements do not appear to have these characteristics. It would be nice if someone has any experience with the aftermarket replacements to lend some advice. I'm not new to bikes and normally would just put some reverse cones or dunstall replicas or something on here but with the bags and trying to keep it original and all I'd like to at least try to keep the look the same without breaking the bank.

Hey I found these side covers and they're pretty cheap too. Conbs, do those look like the correct ones for my late model? If so I think I'll be buying a set of those. Thanks.

?? What side covers? I am not sure, but I think the lip on the bottom of the late cover might be narrower than the early side cover. They are deeper to accommodate the thicker battery, but I don't know by how much. Did you try a search of this site?

hahahahaha.... I swear I added the link. Here it is: http://www.hondaclassic31.com/servlet/t ... ACK/Detail

I tried a search engine also tried like 30 parts websites to hopefully get an OEM part number to have a specific part but I can't find a parts fiche or anything. I don't know which year grouping my side covers match if any and/or which one I'm looking for. I really only need the battery sid but at that price and what I've been finding that looks really good. Let me know what you think, please. Thanks.
