OK--I believe in the centrifugal oil filter now!!Hi,
Many bikes did survive because they didn't run the last 30 years or so. But I don't want to be theoretical, maybe it's time for some tests : I suggest you take a beer bottle, smash it to pieces. Put a few small pieces into the engine, and ride the bike. After a few hundred miles check your oil filter , please report here with pictures. Will you guys pick up the gauntlet ? Jensen If you provide the bike, I'll provide the beer bottle. regards, Sir Laffsalot Hi,
You have the bike, and a beer bottle, and your infinite belief in the spinner filter, so what is stopping you from testing ? What is holding you back ? Put your money where your mouth is, please. And Steve, what is keeping you from testing this theory ? btw, did you rebuild your engine already ? I was in at the Intermot in Koln last week, and I wondered why the newest Honda's weren't all equipped with a spinner filter. Jensen
I've been UK-side and around other Southern European regions for a few months, so I'm away from my CB77. And in the UK it's rained a lot, so I've had little enthusiasm for the old CB250!
I have most of the parts, in Spain, for the CB77 power plant's rebuild; I just need to get back to it. When I do I'll stick to the internals provided by Honda, thanks.....
