Hi Everyone,
Well, I went out today to start up the bike and take a ride in the great weather we're having here in Austin and sure enough after about ten kicks (my starter doesn't work), I broke the crankcase cover!
I've searched on ebay, but only found the left hand ones for sale. Does anyone have one or know where I could track one down?
Thanks!
Luke

Keep a close eye on E-bay and get your wallet out. They do come up occasionally.
Most of them get broken the way yours did. Pay close attention to the assembly when replacing the cover as there is a good chance it was assembled incorrectly. There are plenty of post here in the archives to help you with this. Keep the pivot lubed. I hit mine with a grease gun at least once a month. Might look into some tuning. Should fire on the first kick, second at the most. HTH Goody 64' CB77
