Wiring harness

Post by versuspop » Wed Aug 15, 2012 12:02 am

Anyone know where i can buy a remanufactured or aftermarket wiring harness for a CA77? Apex had them once upon a time, but have been " sold out" for years.

I also tried to find a wiring harness. I did not like the aftermarket ones so what I did was order a kit from Vintage Connections. You can get the connectors the correct color sleving and the correct color of tape. I then put new ends on my original harness, new sleeves then taped it up. It is not like NOS but it looks alot better than the aftermarket ones I have seen.

Yeah, But i'd rather make it myself at that point. I don't want to pay 50 bucks for some crispy old wires. Also, i want to be able to have total confidence in my wiring. Can't get that from old stuff.

What gauge wire do i need? 18?
