Can I get some recommendations for a piston-ring compressor that will work well on the engine of my 1965 Honda CB77? I'm doing a top-end rebuild and will be ready to slip the cylinders over my new pistons and rings in the next few days. A brand name/model and source would be a great help. Thanks in advance!

I just use my hands / thumbnails. Never broken a ring in 30 or so years....

I have it on good authority that a radiator hose clamp of that size works well. Rusty

I did mine by hand as well. Maybe a plastic ziptie?

I use my hands also. Not too hard, don't trim those finger nails for a couple days !

Thanks everyone. The thumbnails didn't work, but the radiator clamp did.
