I figured I'd bounce this off you guys. I need to replace the bushings etc. and my bolt (axle looking thing) is stuck big time. I have my rear wheel, chain guard, shocks off and I hit it with light oil. I've tapped it pretty hard protecting the threads and got it to turn with a ratchet, but really tight. That baby is stuck. I guess I need some mystery oil or something.
Any suggestions from someone that's been there would be appreciated.
Thanks, Rick

'65 CB160 OK, never mind. I got it apart. I am so embarrassed, I've driven this bike at least a thousand miles on and off road with.....The collar missing on the right side!!!!
I wouldn't recommend it. I guess I'll buy all of the parts from Ohio Cycle and maybe I’ll have the local shop press them in to save me any more headaches. Rick '67 CL77 (337, gears X'd)
'65 CB160 It looks like the inserts on the frame are good. No play when the axel is inserted. The collar that was still in the swing arm is stuck. I'm hoping tht after a good soaking, I will be able to punch it out. If I can, maybe I'll just have to buy 2 collars and use the old bushings.

Heat and patience are your friends with problems like this. Alternative applications of heat and penetrating oil (kroil?) will eventually loosen the stuck parts. Heavy application of force will usually end in tears of one sort or another... Good luck G '60 C77 '60 C72 '62 C72 Dream '63 CL72
