Third stupid question of the day re right crankcase cover...

Post by rzgkane » Sat Feb 25, 2012 1:02 am

I want to have this cover bead blasted and finished off with a process called IVD. How do I get this adjuster and its associated parts out of this case? Do I need to press it out somehow?

Ion Vapor Deposited coating. Basically a re-application of aluminum that is corrosion resistant and looks great. I'm taking a few spare parts to a friend who will have them IVD'd for free and I'll post pics when I'm done.

Might be just the ticket to get the carb covers, handlebar hold-down, side cases, etc. looking better.
