The information provided on this show, American Pickers and Porn Stars as well as a number of other History Channel shows leaves a bit to be desired. I remember on Porn Stars, the sour-puss son said he could tell that the vintage Indian they were looking at was a military model because the throttle was on the left.

That CL77 is an early model, steel forks, vented chainguard and small front brake. So, if it was sold as a '67, it sat on the floor for a couple of years. Maybe that's why it was $1900. Somebody had to cover the 2 years worth of interest for the floor plan. I bought a new XS650 Yam in '73 for $1600.

Steel front forks should be black, shouldn't they? I see they did them in silver.

regards,
Rob

I figure I can watch a show where a guy restores an old Honda even if some of the stuff is made for television or you can watch 20 guys pledge their undying love to some chick that for some reason nobody else has wanted.
