Jethro,

I had a set that came from who knows where. They were so heavy, that I couldn't see myself putting them on a 305. Check some out before you buy them. IMO there are better options out there.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen a modern stock muffler that did not weight at least twice what an aftermarket muffler weighs. Lots of internal baffles.

Rob,

The Sporty mufflers seem to weigh 4 times as much! I tossed them, otherwise I'd weigh them just to see.

Well, I suppose I'll go with the same JCwhitney Dunstalls that I have on my CA.
I think I'll go ahead and abandon the concept. Although I'm glad that I visited the idea. Thanks for all the input guys.
