Still sounds like it's still running rich. I would set the floats to lower the fuel level in the bowls, maybe to 25mm or so and see if that helps. You could have a weak condenser, but it sure sounds more like a carb issue. Make sure the condenser has a good ground with no paint or rust in the way.

Make sure you're using D8HA plugs, and don't throw those sooty plugs out - just clean the center electrode with carb cleaner and compressed air. And... check those caps.

Right side not firing

Check to make sure your coil is making good contact to ground. Also check to make sure that the green wire for your right side points is not grounding against the backing plate.

Thanks again all,

My compression guage isn't working...
Cleaned carbs again 26mm, floats at 25mm, #42 and #135 and needle is #2423 clip in middle.
Air mix 1 1/8 out.
Tried both NGK and Autolite 4173 plugs. No air filters, exhaust free flowing w/ baffles.
She starts right up 1st kick and freely rev's up now but still black sooty plugs.
R side points still arcing, will check all grounds again.

The coils don't need to be grounded, just the condenser via the grounding strap.

Are both plugs sooty or just the right side?

Do you get spark on the right side? Ground the plug outside the engine away from the hole and check it. Arcing points could indicate a bad condenser, especially if its just one side.

Compression check is a good idea - you could just hold your thumb on the spark plug hole and crank the motor. Feel for any difference left to right.

If compression feels low, I would check the valve clearances. If they're OK might be time for some top end work.

Might want to check for float valve sticking open or hole in a float.
