Hardware?Hi
Ray Byrne may be able to let you have some emblem screws - he supplies repro badges with screws. RRHByrne@aol.com You might get M10 x 1.5 at Home Depot or McMaster Carr. Acorn nuts are harder as the ones for the head are much deeper than normal acorn nuts. You could try a Honda dealer or look out for used ones on eBay http://www.mcmaster.com/#din-hex-nuts/=dkrdfh Good luck! G PS Love your bike - the color suits it well. Thanks a lot !!! I do love the color too! I do have a Honda dealer that used to be able to get me all kinds of old stuff, I guess I'll try out there... Acorn nutsI was at Ace Hardware a couple weeks ago looking for some set screws. Ran across a box of chrome metric cap screws. I was in a hurry so I didn't have time to take an inventory, but youmight look there. It was a bigger store with a large bolt section. The bolts come in the little cardboard boxes that are about 8x12 with a hinged lid and the sizes printed on the underside of the lid.
If you are looking for cap nuts for rear shocks on a Dream don't buy from the "B" guy in Thailand. He returned my money at the end, but it is was a VERY long process. Re: Acorn nutsI actually went to Ace yesterday and got two 12 1.50 nuts for the top of the shocks...just temporary, yea I don't like dealing with the people in Thailand 3 weeks to get my stuff is way too long...and who knows what you're getting... Re: NutsThey only went up to M10 in the chrome...I found a set of 4 chrome acorn on ebay, but they're a bit out of my price range at the moment.
