OK I'm getting power to the points and plug wires but no spark at either,
also witch gets spark first points or plugs.
What position should ignition switch be to start?

Bike?

Plug wire caps securely contacting plug wires?
... and plug wires but no spark at either
what does this mean? Voltage measured but no spark??? did you:
-pull plug
-insert into cap
-rest plug on motor
-turn on bike and turn engine over

-look for spark at plug gap (darkened shop is better)??
