Kickstart gear 65 cb77

My battery was dead today and i was attempting to kickstart my bike, and the badly work kickstart gear stripped the rest of the way. It is the spline that sticks out of the case that is stripped. My kickstarter itself has decent teeth left on it. Does anyone know any tricks to remedy this or have a gear laying around? Also is there supposed to be something like a keeper that is supposed to keep it from moving in when pushing the kickstarter lever on it? mine just pushes in towards the engine when kickstart shaft is off.

i went to service honda and found a 1961 parts list, i think this is the parts i need
GEAR, KICK STARTER 28231-268-010
WASHER, THRUST 90451-268-000
SET-RING (16MM) 90602-001-000
