So first off..i apologize if this is a topic beat to death on this forum:( i JUST bought a 1966 cl77..(or so im told it is;) i am wondering if anyone out there would know and be so kind as to tell me how to make sure or find out what my scrambler is? My vin is cl77 1010065 and motor is cl77E-1010009...
im VERY excited to be part of this forum..and to start my restoration of this bike!:) ANY info or help will be GREATLY appreciated!

The numbers ya show are for a Small Brake CL77 which for discussion is a 1965 issue.
When ya remove the tank ya should find a small white tag on the wire harness near the tank rear mount and it will show a year. ...............lm

Oh no worries there guys!;) i already talked to fastfred on getting a set of bars! And i will check on getting proper taillight:)..front fender looks wrong to me (shouldn't be chrome?)..first i gotta find what exact year it is so i can get correct color scheme;) and then i will begin the process of getting her going...and learning as i go!:) thanks again for the help! Looking forward to getting her home and getting that tank off to see what i actually have!..
