Bolt and screw kits

Well, I was planning on buying the nice screw kit that MG Innovative Products had, but I think they went out of business.

I even googled the business and found their number. When I called, I received and automated message saying the number was no longer in service.

It's really disappointing because they had a nice hex head set for the entire block, plus all of the acorn nuts for a reasonable price.

I debating on piecing together a hex set from McMaster. The only problem is, you end up having to buy 100 of each size you're after. Would anybody be interested in going in with me if I figure out how many of each size we need and putting a kit together?

I'm not familiar with the McMaster screws and how close they are to original but I'm interested.
BTW.... just got a nice set of stainless dyno and points cover hex screws from Ohio Cycle for $12.50.
I like the additional strength of the stainless screws in those locations considering ongoing maintenence and tuning access.

I just found this set recently, but haven't ordered it yet.

According to the diagram, it looks like it should also contain the 115mm screw that goes thru the oil filter cover, which most other kits omit.

Also, somewhere on the site it mentions he has some original thread 5mm screws available.

After trying the stainless hex heads, I will be going back to phllips......they just look better to me.

I actually bought a set of stainless phillips head dyno and points cover screws from Ohio Cycle.
I defintely prefer the look of phillips head screws and wouldn't be interested in a hex set.

No problem. After taking two engines apart with phillips heads and resulting to using a screw extractor for every single screw out of one engine, I'm done with phillips unless I absolutely cannot find an alternative.
