Hi Hal, welcome. If you're interested in events, you should join the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club: http://www.vjmc.org/

They have events throughout the US and usually have a number of our 305 buddies in attendance.

Don't know where you're located, but one event that is a 'must see' is Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio, which takes place in July. You'd definitely find 305 stuff there, though some of it might be beat to heck. Great event, and it's something that you should attend at least once in your lifetime.

As far as sources for parts, try Western Hills Honda/Yamaha in Cincinnati, or Ohio Cycle, or Classic Honda Restoration here in Maryland. As far as where to buy a complete bike, Tim at Classic Honda Restoration usually has a line or two on where to find one, and there's always the usual sources (Craigslist, eBay, Walneck's, word-of-mouth, etc). I think once you become part of the vintage Honda circle, you start to hear about things available....an osmosis of sorts!
