dead battery/engine run??

Should the 305 dream run when kick started, even though the battery is dead?? please reply to hal-lee@att.net

The bike will not start with a dead battery. Please put your location in your profile so we know where you are. There just may be some one local that can help you.

If your lucky you can get it to work when you put the bike in 1st gear, and run with it.

Small chance I would say, but your chance's of starting it would increase. And turn all the lights off.

I have a CB77 that I run with no battery, only a capacitor. It starts as easily as a bike with a battery, kick start only of course.

Should be possible to bump start it I would think.

I had to do that to my VFR a few years ago after the battery dies. Just stuck it in second and bumped it off. That bike at least made enough electrical power at that speed to fire.
