Thanks for the kind comment, Isiah.

1/ Give it a try as you have it 'currently' (har har harrrrrr) installed; feel how hot the rectifier package gets after a 10-mile ride or so. It will get warm, but if it becomes too hot to touch (and keep a finger[print] held against it for 5-10secs, then I'd go the proper heatsink route.

2/ Yes, I have a '61 frame and I've fitted the later AM seat. I'll take some pics and post them in the relevant section; I'll post a link here when it's done.

Thanks Steve. I appreciate the help. I am trying to fit that race seat to my '64 frame. The frame seems to be about an inch too long. And unfortunately the PO had welded on the rear mounts, so either way I have to make a new set. Can't wait to see some pics.

Isiah, Here's a previously-posted image from a way down this topic which will give you an idea of how it pans out.

Let me know, via the main topic, if you need more detail.

Thanks Steve for the pic, but unfortunately, I am going the other way. My seat is too short for my frame. I'll try and make a bracket soon and let you guys know how it turns out.
