CL 77E carb nozzles
CL 77E carb nozzlesI'm trying to finish up my 1964 305 scrambler. The mechanic tells me, I need a new set of carb nozzles. The peace of brass that the main, & pilot jets screw into on the bottom and the needle goes into on top. They are courser thread pitch than the newer ones. We haven't been able to find any.

Re: CL 77E carb nozzlesWhat does he say is wrong with them?. ............lm
Re: CL 77E carb nozzlesI checked with the mechanic today. It looks like the ends of them are corroded and not holding the needle jet high enough. It looks like the slide on the right side carb also needs to be replaced. I found a few nozzles on ebay, but $25 each seems a bit steep. Although they appear to be rare, so maybe not. Any idea where I could find these nozzles or a slide? Carb slideRozy, I think I might have a slide for you, I'm just over the hump from you in Tacoma. I'll check in the morning and get back to you.....................................D
Re: CL 77E carb nozzlesIf ya mean the needle jet holder, 16139-259-004, I have some. ..............lm
Carb slideRozy, I checked my stash, I have 2 lefts and 1 bent-up(PO) right..................................D
I'm still looking for a right side slide for my cl77.We got the nozzles for the carbs and it runs a lot better now. But i'm still trying to find a right side slide for the 26mm carb. Air leaks around it and we have to run the needle one notch higher to try and compensate. Thanks Rozy
