Air inlets on headAir inlets on headI have a 1967 CL77, I removed the carbs to clean and located two air inlets under the intake manifolds for the carbs. On the british bikes these were balance tubes and they were connected by a rubber hose. What are the purpose of these on the 305 and shoud they be connected or are they some kind of breather? Thanks
Hi Renoman
These were breathers connected to the inlet valve guides. later models do not have them as it was considered unnecessary. You can blank them or connect them together without dire consequences. G '60 C77 '60 C72 '62 C72 Dream '63 CL72
